One of Genius Loci’s key strategies is to build mixed-income housing that contributes to a more integrated community.
The idea is to build housing in thirds: one third low-income, one third affordable moderate-income, one third market rate. Basically, the moderate-income unit will pay for itself and the market rate unit will pay for itself and subsidize the low-income unit.
